Working together with the Toronto District School Board, these developers acquired property rights, and in turn helped to construct a brand new school building alongside two high-rise condo buildings. Built in 2010, CS&P Architects and Burka Varacalli Architects are responsible for the duo of glass, concrete and steel structures that comprise the Republic Towers. Those who prefer to get around by car can zip along Eglinton East until they reach the Don Valley Parkway, or alternatively they can take Yonge Street north for access to the 401. A straight shot down Yonge will land drivers in downtown Toronto, however Mount Pleasant and Bayview Avenue are both alternate routes for when the traffic won’t cooperate.
