    About 10 Sunrise AvenueVictoria Town

If 10 Sunrise Ave had a mantra, it might be substance over style. This 4-storey residence in the Victoria Village neighbourhood features a dated brick exterior that belies the value contained within. The building was constructed in 1977 — and prospective buyers have been flocking to the property ever since.

Known as Victoria Town, the residence stands 4 storeys tall and occupies a significant plot of land at 10 Sunrise Ave & 20 Sunrise Ave. Amenities are top notch and include; an outdoor pool, saunas, a games room, a recreation room, tennis courts, and parking and visitor parking.

Despite the desirable array of extras, maintenance fees are below both the neighbourhood and GTA average. For buyers who cannot find a unit here, there’s a nearly identical development next door at 30-40 Sunrise Avenue Condos.

    The Suites

In total, there are 144 North York condos at 10 Sunrise Ave, spread among 2 buildings. Floor plans are quite generous, ranging in size from 749 square feet for the smallest 2 bedroom suites in the building to 1500 square feet for the largest 3 bedroom plus den.

Because of the building’s age, finishes and appliances depend on past ownership; some suites are entirely modern with open concept layouts, hardwood flooring, and gourmet kitchens; other units have galley kitchens based on original floor plans, and there’s potential for carpet in bedrooms.

All units have large private balconies — taking advantage of the tree shrouded property to create a feeling of peace and tranquility.

    The Neighbourhood

With a home at 10 Sunrise Ave, you get to enjoy Victoria Village. This North York neighbourhood balances nature, convenience, and easy commuter access.

Residents of Victoria Town are only a 3 minute walk from a plethora of retailers at Eglinton Square Shopping Centre; there’s big box stores like HomeSense and Best Buy, clothing boutiques, bookstores, and more. As well, there’s a cineplex for movie nights.

Dining options are clustered around Eglinton Square Shopping Centre — and there’s the usual fast food chains and sit down eateries too. For something closer to home — not that these locations are far away — there’s Sunrise Bar & Grill less than a minute from the condos, as well as Sultan Of Samosas.

When you need some fresh air, you can walk to Parma Park, which also has an outdoor pool and a daycare centre. Families have great schools in the area in the public and catholic board, and there are unique entertainment options like Toronto Climbing Academy.

    Transportation

10 Sunrise Ave is a walker friendly location where residents can run all daily errands on foot; the nearby shopping centre hosts pharmacies, salons, and everything you could need, plus, Victoria Supermarket only 2 minutes away on foot.

Public transit service can be patchy in the neighbourhood. Residents of 10 Sunrise Ave have bus stops close to the building, but the ride takes about 20 minutes to reach the nearest subway station at Warden.

Car owners can get where they’re going in a hurry by going west on Eglinton for the Don Valley Parkway.
